Student Recruitment Campaign Drives 500% Increase in Applications

Overview

Global Citizen Year is a global gap year program that educates the next generation of changemakers through immersion-based international bridge years before starting college. Partnering with Global Citizen Year on a student recruitment campaign, our goal was to increase the number of student leads and applications for their bridge year program.

Our student recruitment strategy consisted of a multi-channel approach, leveraging GCY’s Google Ad Grant and Facebook advertising. We optimized landing pages for student lead conversions, and reached new audiences of high school students with detailed targeting.

Through our student recruitment campaign, we increased leads and applications by 500% for Global Citizen Year’s bridge year program.

Captivating Words & Images

Powerful work deserves powerful communications. Copywriting, infographics, email headers, landing pages, and more all help you move communities toward organizational goals.

Multi-Touchpoint Campaigns

Momentum matters. When we need supporters to take action, we strive to meet them where they are on their twitter feed, in their inbox or chatting with their friends.

Testing Great Ideas

Good teams help generate a wealth of good ideas. We put these good ideas to the test and let the community tell us what resonates with them best.

Implementation

We reached new audiences on Facebook and Google based on interest, geography, income level, and other key factors. We developed compelling ad copy and utilized unique creative formats to engage high school students to apply for a bridge year. By driving traffic through GCY’s Google Ad Grant, we were able to develop a robust retargeting campaign for prospects and interested individuals. We then optimized Facebook and Google Ad Grants ads for maximum conversions and ROI.
