Media Cause has been partnering with Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) for over 5 years on community engagement strategy and social media advocacy. NRDC leverages social media as a way to educate supporters and drive meaningful online actions to safeguard the earth, focusing on topics such as climate change, energy, sustainability, health, oceans, water and the wild.
As the leading voice of American environmental policy, NRDC Action Fund needed a strong social media presence to lead the online discussion around environmental issues. We developed a community engagement strategy to communicate their positions on a wide variety of political and environmental topics, all while staying in their brand voice.
We’ve created over 11,000 social posts across platforms to represent NRDC’s thought leadership in compliance with legal and brand standards. There have been substantial outcomes from our efforts, creating engaged communities to take action on global environmental issues and policy.

Build & Engage Communities
Individuals allow organizations to achieve goals of all shapes and sizes. We seek out the right people and inspire them to get involved and take action.
Captivating Words & Images
Powerful work deserves powerful communications. Copywriting, infographics, email headers, landing pages—the list goes on—all help you move communities toward organizational goals.
Multi-Touchpoint Campaigns
Momentum matters. When we need supporters to take action, we strive to meet them where they are—on their twitter feed, in their inbox or chatting with their friends.
