Our goal was to build a simple but meaningful page that would narrate the compelling stories of Kurdish female fighters and inspire users to share and honor those stories on social media for our International Women’s Day campaign.
Our campaign would take the user on a journey through the lives of four extraordinarily brave women whose stories we wanted to honor for International Women's Day. This meant designing an interactive page where one could watch and share original video content, get quick bytes of information about Kurdish female fighters, and share personalized "thank you" messages for these women on social media directly from the page.
Over the course of a single day, our videos garnered close to 56K views, over 150+ people shared "thank you" messages, and the campaign got coverage and participation by influencers like Business Insider, the Kurdish Regional Government of Iraq, U.S. Representative Ro Khanna, and Kurdish elected officials like Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman and Falah Mustafa.
